The Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) is a nonprofit organization representing over 600 electric utility, solar industry, and stakeholder members. SEPA`s mission is to facilitate solutions for the use and integration of solar electric power by utilities, electric service providers, and their customers. The Utility Outreach Manager will coordinate the implementation of the organization's strategy to increase interaction with utilities and increase utility membership. This position will work in close collaboration with the organization's three Regional Directors and the Director of Membership on the development of relationships with utilities and efforts to educate them about solar energy and its value to the utility and its customers. The ideal entry- or mid-level candidate will have one to five years of electric utility experience and an understanding of solar technologies and their integration into the utility business environment; however other candidates with applicable experience and skills will be considered. Candidate must possess demonstrated management and organizational skills and be willing to undertake regional and domestic travel. * Coordinate the development of an annual strategy to increase and improve outreach to electric utilities in the U.S. and abroad and implementation through the Regional Directors. Responsibilities include: o Manage collaboration between three regional directors and various departments at the organization's headquarters.
